The Basilica of Saint Anthony is a place of pilgrimage and worship and has been welcoming thousands of Christians since 1310. Romanesque and Gothic style blend together to create a magnificent artistic and architectural work of art, in which painters like Giotto and Giusto de’ Menabuoi frescoed the walls. In 2021, it was recognised as World Heritage Site by UNESCO, as an Urbs Picta, that is the city painted along with other historical buildings of exceptional artistic and cultural value.

Scrovegni Chapel

The Scrovegni Chapel is a symbol of Italian fourteenth century painting and its colours, light and sentiments represent a triumph of artistic beauty. In 1303, it was commissioned by Enrico Scrovegni to the Tuscan painter Giotto, who created one of the most important series of frescoes depicting the union between humanity and faith in a unique artistic and emotional journey.

Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden of Padua is a masterpiece that brings nature and science together and was created in 1545, inspiring travellers from all over the world. Recognised in 1997 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is an exceptional example of biodiversity and study of the natural world. It contains examples of more than 7 thousand plant species in a space of 37 thousand m2. A unique experience for admiring the famous Goethe Palm and five different natural environments that will take you all around the world.

Prato della Valle

Prato della Valle is one of the symbols of the city of Padua. A huge oval-shaped square designed as a true monumental space with a central green island surrounded by a canal adorned by a double row of statues depicting illustrious characters. A place rich in history, all to be discovered, where you can relax in the shade of a tree on the hottest days.
